I would really recommend completing the Makaton training, I've completed my Level 1 workshop and I'm already planning on signing up for my level 2! Nicki is patient, supportive and made the training engaging and fun to learn. The short breaks throughout the day really help make the day go faster and it's much easier to concentrate and remember the signs. I'm looking forward to putting what I've learnt to good use in my role. Thank you so much!

Nicki is an amazing tutor. The day literally flies by  and is so enjoyable. A mix of teaching styles helps  you learn and implement new signs and embed  new learning. Nicki is approachable and is always  willing to teach signs which might not be in the  level. Thank you so much for being a huge part of  my Makaton journey and being such a wonderful  teacher. 

Fantastic tutor, have completed all 4 levels with  Nicki - she is animated and her teaching style is  really accessible. Highly recommending Nicki to all my colleagues in the SEND school setting I work in.

Nicola was fantastic as a Tutor. She made the whole thing enjoyable & made me feel at ease. Nicola made me feel so comfortable that even when I made a mistake she helped me fix it & work on my skill. 

Really enjoyable & detailed. Nicola was extremely encouraging, giving corrections & helpful adjustments to ensure signs were correct & consistent! Her passion for Makaton is clear & really motivating. 

Nicola was fantastic and made the course really enjoyable for my mum and I, so much so, that we would like to do the level 2 course in the near future.

I completed Levels 1 - 4 with Nicki and I am so glad I found her! She is so welcoming and patient and always so encouraging. I instantly felt at ease with  Nicki and enjoyed every session. Nicki clearly has a passion for Makaton and promoting how important it is and she has inspired me to do the same. 

Nicki taught the course beautifully, she was patient and kind when I was learning new signs. she has a lovely way of correcting a person in a non embarrassing way. She is a Makaton natural.  Highly recommend Nicki 

I very much enjoyed the Level 3 course it really helped to consolidate everything covered so far in  levels 1 & 2. It felt like we have learnt so much!  Looking forward to Level 4! Nicki is an amazing Makaton tutor, even when the pronouns got a bit confusing, Nicki was brilliant at explaining and making it easier for us to remember. Can't wait to do level 4.

Nicola was fantastic, informative, engaging and made the workshop really enjoyable. I especially liked that we all had a go at using Makaton signing, the session flowed really well. I learned a lot  during the workshop and now feel inspired to take the Level 2 workshop next. 

Nicola is a fantastic tutor! I started on my Makaton journey this year and completed my Level 1 in March, Level 2 in April, and I have just completed my Level 3. Nicola has delivered the training with a 'You can' positive attitude. My confidence in Makaton has grown because of Nicola's style of tutoring. I'm very  excited to book onto Level 4 and Babies and families training so I can share my knowledge. 

 The tutor was kind, friendly & patient, and was confident and informative when delivering the  workshop. She made me feel relaxed, and more confident in my ability to sign using Makaton effectively. The workshop was delivered at a good pace and I feel that I learned a lot. I would recommend her to others.

I'm a teacher of 30 years with next to no experience of Makaton and I really enjoyed Nicki's Level 1 training, she was so encouraging. I was worried about devoting the best part of a Saturday to it but the pace of the course was great...plenty of short breaks, and the content was so engaging and fun to do. I'm looking forward to putting some Makaton to use in my setting.  

After teaching myself the very basics to  communicate with my son I then completed my L1 with Nicki. She is so down to earth, welcoming & makes  learning fun. She explains everything well whilst not overloading you with information. It's so important as a family to have the knowledge to be able to communicate with each other. So my daughter has completed her level 1 with Nicki too! She also enjoyed the L1 course & we are rebooking together to do our L2 with Nicki. Thank you!!

The training was fantastic and Nicki was very  helpful and patient. 

Nicki was a really approachable tutor. I felt  comfortable asking questions and she was great at  building everyone's confidence. I thought it was  lovely that she allowed time for all the participants to share experiences from their settings - it allowed for some interesting and thought-provoking  discussions. 

Nicola has been fantastic with teaching me Level 1  and 2. Her tutoring style makes Makaton very  enjoyable to learn and I cant wait to book my level  3 and 4 with Nicola.

Nicki was an excellent tutor and the training was  brilliant. The delivery of this workshop allowed lots of practice time so that the signs could be committed to memory. I would definitely consider doing further Makaton training with Nicki in the future.
