What to expect on Level 2
The Level 2 Makaton Workshop is the next step in your Makaton journey after completing Level 1. This workshop provides practical information on the Makaton Communication Programme and enhances your understanding of learning and communication differences.
It is particularly recommended for individuals who need to use Makaton at home and in their work environments, as it helps develop the communication skills of others.
During the Level 2 Makaton Workshop, you will learn to apply Makaton in everyday situations, covering immediate needs, home settings, familiar people, food, events, activities, and objects.
You will learn over 150 signs and symbols from stages 3 and 4 of the core vocabulary, as well as Part B of the additional vocabulary.
You will also discover hints & tips for effective signing & symbol use to maximise communication.

Digital Learning Kit v Paper Manual
The Digital Learning Kit is an online participant manual with full interactive features, you will receive a code via email to redeem and gain access to your DLK ahead of the workshop.
The Paper Manual is a physical hard copy of the participant manual which is posted to your delivery address ahead of the workshop.
