What to expect on Level 2
Level 2 Workshop is the next step of your Makaton journey after completing Level 1, providing practical information of the Makaton Communication Programme and a wider understanding of learning & communication difficulties.
It is recommended for people who need to use Makaton at home and in their work, to develop the communication skills of others.
The Level 2 Workshop includes how to continue using Makaton in everyday situations; immediate needs, home, familiar people, food, events, activities & objects.
You will learn over 150 signs & symbols from stages 3 & 4 of the core vocabulary and Part B of the additional vocabulary.
You will also discover hints and tips for effective signing & symbol use to maximise communication.
