I'm Nicki, a fully licensed and experienced freelance Makaton tutor based in Kent and Greater London, and I’m also the owner of ‘Signing Together’.
I offer a range of training options to individuals and organisations whether you are just starting out on your Makaton journey or looking for more advanced or bespoke training, I have a workshop to suit your needs.
I have more than 15 years experience working with children and young people with SEND and have incorporated Makaton in my work for over 8 years.
I am passionate about spreading the use of Makaton and guiding others through their own Makaton journey.

- Taster sessions provide a practical introduction to the Makaton Communication Programme, they are topic based ensuring the theme of the session is tailored to meet your requirements.
- Levels 1 - 4 are official training levels which cover the stages of the Core Vocabulary, these practical workshops are recommended for anyone who needs to use Makaton at home or in their work in order to develop the communication skills of others.
- The Makaton For... range of workshops are designed for professionals who want to create inclusive and accessible environments to support the learning and communication needs of those they work with. These workshops are tailor made with a bespoke vocabulary for each workshop title.
