What to expect on Level 4
Join our Level 4 Makaton Workshop, where you'll learn stages 7 & 8 of the Core Vocabulary signs & symbols, adding an additional 103 signs & symbols to your repertoire. This Level 4 Makaton training is the next phase of your Makaton journey after successfully completing Level 3. It’s ideal for individuals who wish to use Makaton at home and in their professional environments to enhance the communication skills of others.
The Level 4 Workshop offers a practical learning experience focused on effectively applying the Makaton Communication Programme. We’ll commence with a refresher on the signs previously taught in Levels 1, 2 & 3, covering vital topics like feelings and interests. You'll also be introduced to new signs and symbols from stages 7 & 8, which are essential for developing everyday life skills related to money, quantities, numbers, and time.
As an advanced level of Makaton training, the Level 4 workshop will help you refine your signing and symbol skills, ensuring you can use them effectively in daily life. Complete the Makaton workshop series with Level 4, and consider our online workshops for added flexibility.

The RRP set by The Makaton Charity is now £93 per person for individual online tickets for Level 4 Makaton training. However, I will keep my pricing at 2025 rates, offering further discounts for returning participants and for those booking combined online workshops at the same time.

Digital Learning Kit v Paper Manual
The Digital Learning Kit is an online participant manual featuring full interactive capabilities. Upon registration for our Level 4 Makaton training, you will receive a code via email to redeem and gain access to your DLK before the online workshops.
Alternatively, the Paper Manual provides a physical hard copy of the participant manual, which will be mailed to your shipping address prior to the workshop.
