What to expect on Level 3
The Level 3 Workshop is the next step in your Makaton journey after completing Level 2, offering a practical learning session on applying the Makaton Communication Programme. This Makaton training is particularly recommended for individuals who wish to use Makaton at home and in their work to enhance the communication skills of those around them.
The Level 3 Workshop will begin with a refresher on the signs previously taught in Levels 1 and 2, expanding on topics such as people, activities, events, and objects. Additionally, signs and symbols from stages 5 and 6 will be introduced, focusing on areas ideal for personal development like feelings, interests, community, thinking, and knowing. You will also start to explore more abstract concepts.
Throughout this course, you will learn an additional 99 signs and symbols from the core vocabulary's stages 5 and 6. This advanced Makaton training is designed to enhance and develop your signing and symbol skills, enabling you to use them effectively in your daily interactions. A continuation of your Makaton journey
The RRP set by The Makaton Charity is now £93 per person for individual online tickets for the Level 3 workshop. However, I will maintain my pricing at 2025 rates, offering additional discounts for returning participants and for those booking multiple Makaton training sessions or sign language courses at the same time.

Digital Learning Kit v Paper Manual
The Digital Learning Kit for the Level 3 workshop is an online participant manual featuring full interactive capabilities. You will receive a code via email to redeem and access your DLK, enhancing your experience in Makaton training and other sign language courses ahead of the workshop.
The Paper Manual is a physical hard copy of the participant manual which will be sent to your delivery address prior to the workshop.
