Level 3 Makaton Workshop
What to expect on Level 3
Level 3 Workshop is the next step of your Makaton journey after completing Level 2, providing a practical learning session on how to apply the Makaton Communication Programme.
It is recommended for people who need to use Makaton at home & in their work, to develop the communication skills of others.
The Level 3 Workshop will start with a refresher on the signs previously taught in Levels 1 & 2, building on topics such as; people, activities, events & objects. Signs & Symbols from stages 5 & 6 will also be introduced, which are ideal for personal development; feelings, interests, community, thinking & knowing. You will also begin to learn more abstract concepts.
You will learn a further 99 signs & symbols from stages 5 & 6 of the core vocabulary.
Level 3 training is an advanced level of Makaton training and will help you to improve & develop your signing & symbol skills and how to use them effectively every day.

Digital Learning Kit v Paper Manual
The Digital Learning Kit is an online participant manual with full interactive features, you will receive a code via email to redeem and gain access to your DLK ahead of the workshop.
The Paper Manual is a physical hard copy of the participant manual which is posted to your shipping address ahead of the workshop.
